ScamChecker is a service provided by Lloyds Bank aimed at helping the bank customers, especially the elderly, to detect scams attempts and not fall into them.
The service is available on the bank’s app. It offers a chatbot service 24/7 that will analyse every suspicious message or email you may receive and it will notify you whether they are frauds, giving you the right suggestions.
ScamChecker's value proposition is to prevent scams, while promoting new behaviours and building trust between the bank and its customers.

ScamChecker does not generate profit directly. Instead, it benefits Lloyds in the form of retaining customers, enhancing loyalty, reducing the number of costs associated with them being scammed. Also, an efficient costumers’ service and a higher level of security will help Lloyds gain new customers and therefore increasing the revenue.
