About me
I consider myself an impact-driven Service Designer, as my main goal in practice is to design human-centered services that have a beneficial impact on the society and on the environment.

During my high school years at in Liceo Classico my main activity was translating in Italian the works of poets and historians written in ancient languages - Greek and Latin -, which I believe was my first encounter with both problem-solving and decision-making.

Then, I studied Product Design at Politecnico di Milano, where I learnt a technical approach to Design, projecting tangible artefacts, aiming to solve complex human problems and expanding my focus on different areas, such as education and cohabiting.
After three years at Politecnico, I realized I wanted to broaden the scope of my practice and reach a better understanding of the human experience.

That’s when, and why, I applied for the Service Design course at the Royal College of Art of London. As a Service Design student I had the opportunity to learn and practice a totally new approach to problem-solving, expanding my abilities and knowledge. At the RCA I have been working on a wide range of projects, in partnership with both the private and the public sector, such as Lloyds Bank and the NHS.

After graduating I got the Design Strategist and Researcher role at Capital One UK where I followed a rotation across thanks to which I extended my research skills conducting interviews and exploring usability testing as well as consolidating my strategy and design skills. At Capital One I mapped out the end-to-end customer experience in a overall blueprint, analysing the interactions between business and customers, while deeping my understanding of British credit and financial industry and having a positive impact on borrowers, with a special attention and personal investment to vulnerable customers.
